Taste different varieties of extra virgin olive oil, freshly extracted and selected directly from the oil mill. All accompanied by a tasting board featuring five gastronomic specialties from Sicily, all produced on the farm.
You’ll also taste farm-made products: honey, organic marmalade, and of course olive pâté. During the experience, you’ll taste IGP and DOC Sicily wines, get to know the land and the local production chain. My family LOVED our visit to Augustali where we enjoyed an olive oil tour (while enjoying the wine), viewed the wine vineyards, and made our own Olive pate and olive oil tasting. At the end we capped it off with a lovely dinner of food and wine from the farm that was fantastic. Our host was so lovely, accommodating and answered all of our questions and the place was gorgeous. We had 2 kids with us (9 & 7) and they were able to play, run around, see and pet some animals and try the food along with us (the 9 year old really enjoyed the Olive pate!) Overall I have to recommend Augustali as a must-do if you’re in the area and don’t forget to buy some wine and olive oil on your way out! — La mia famiglia ha ADORATO la nostra visita ad Augustali, dove abbiamo partecipato a un tour dell’olio d’oliva (assaggiando anche il vino), visitato i vigneti e preparato la nostra degustazione di paté di olive e olio d’oliva. Alla fine, abbiamo concluso il tutto con una deliziosa cena a base di cibo e vino dell’azienda agricola, davvero fantastica. Il nostro ospite è stato gentilissimo, disponibile e ha risposto a tutte le nostre domande, e il posto era meraviglioso. Avevamo con noi due bambini (9 e 7 anni) che hanno potuto giocare, correre, vedere e accarezzare alcuni animali e assaggiare il cibo insieme a noi (il bambino di 9 anni ha apprezzato molto il paté di olive!). Nel complesso, consiglio Augustali come tappa obbligata se siete in zona e non dimenticate di comprare vino e olio d’oliva all’uscita!

Delicious antipasti, amazing hospitality, delightful olive oil experience.
My husband and I visited Augustali Farm on a whim on a hot Sunday lunch time on our way to the airport. Despite turning up on a day when the experiences are closed, we were warmly welcomed by the hostess, whose English was excellent, and offered a selection of experiences. We selected the olive oil experience and Sicilian specialities and were not disappointed.
We learned about olive growing, harvesting and oil production on a brief tour of the olive grove. We took a detour into the vineyard and tasted some grapes missed by that morning’s harvesting and then returned to the shade for a guided olive oil tasting and made our own pate (tapenade) in a mortar and pestle.
The farm is beautiful – olive, lemon and other fruit trees, vines and views of the hills – a lovely rural Sicilian scene.
The food was absolutely divine – traditional Sicilian antipasti dishes (lots of aubergine) served on lettuce leaves with bread and wine.
We purchased a few hand luggage suitable items in the little shop but wish we could have bought more. It was a real treat.

We booked an olive oil experience with 14 people and we had the best time.
A lovely woman showed us around and explained a bit about the farm and the olive harvest.
Afterwards we tasted olive oil and prepared our own olive paste. Additionally we received a variety of delicious food. The amount and the quality of the food was awesome.
The farm has a lovely, home-like atmosphere and we had a very nice time.

We had a beautiful experience at the farm tasting olives, olive oil, creating our own paste and having a fantastic dinner as a group of 12 people. The host was very friendly and really made the visit special! Would recommend it to anyone, even if you’re not used to the taste of olives.
